If you're hoping to make positive changes in your life, I can help.  My work with adults often focuses on challenges such as:

  • anxiety and depression  

  • stress management

  • work/life balance

  • managing multiple role demands (including roles as partner/spouse, parent, employee, son/daughter, "sandwich generation" issues, etc.)

  • identity exploration and coping during life transitions (e.g., graduating from college, becoming a new parent, beginning/ending a significant relationship, career changes, "empty nest" adjustment, retirement) 

I aim to create a warm, accepting environment in which clients can safely share their most personal thoughts and feelings.  We work collaboratively to identify relevant themes and obstacles, manage associated anxieties, and pursue meaningful changes that lead to renewed satisfaction, joy and fulfillment.  I have been described as balancing compassion, humor, gentleness and straightforwardness.  Above all, I strive to understand and meet each client's unique needs and goals.
